Great portions of pancakes! Also coffee options in room. ![]() Rate did include breakfast which was nice in the AM. No housekeeping in these times of COVID but just call or ask for towels and toiletries. Apparently we were in an accessible room and the shower was supersized but worked for us. What more do you need? Even enjoyed a dish of tater tots! Room was spacious considering we had two large beds and great view of Petco. Little shop in the lobby to grab any snacks and beverages although lots of places to grab the essentials nearby. Very modern decor with the boutique feel. Now 176 (Was 217) on Tripadvisor: Hotel Indigo San Diego-Gaslamp Quarter, an IHG Hotel, San Diego. ![]() Valet available and all staff were so friendly and kind. You can walk to all the shops and bars and restaurants (even only 30 min walk to the Farmers Markets in Little Italy Saturday AM - highly recommend). Nice you cannot beat the location right in gaslamp and a few blocks from Petco. Where to stay: Set in a former textile mill, Hotel Indigo has industrial interiors, a buzzy bar and is well located for exploring. Overall I would stay here again, but NOT for a business trip where high speed internet is a MUST.Spent a long girls weekend in January at this Hotel Indigo. I found it funny that the hotel was named Indigo when it is mostly orange. Just buildings and the Petco Park Baseball Stadium. The roof top bar was very nice, with comfy seats and fire pits. The interior was clean, stylish, modern and it's PET FRIENDLY! The rooms have no carpet (I believe they are laminate/wood floors, which I liked). Escape the ordinary in one of the city’s most energetic neighborhoods. Other than that small detail, the staff was friendly and helpful. We ended up paying $41 a day for overnight valet, which is average for hotels. If you have a car, good luck finding a parking spot. In the lobby the Wi-Fi was better, but still not up to par. Our room had ultra slow Wi-Fi (less than 0.5mb/s). My only disappointment was the INTERNET!! This was a business trip, and we needed to have high speed internet. My husband and I were on a business trip in San Diego, and decided to stay here for 3days 2nights, since they had great reviews. The WIFI was strong and best of all, free - no complaints there. I turned in early every night and heard nothing from surrounding rooms, so the walls are plenty thick. The only negatives were the valet parking service which costs an astounding $41 per day also, the "text your request and we'll have your car ready for you" worked only half the time. ![]() The hotel is only a few years old (I'm guessing was constructed circa 2011) so it's chic, got great colors and design and all the right amenities. Lots of interesting hotel guests hang out during happy hour - theres even a great covered area with a gas fireplace and HDTV for inclement weather - rare in San DIEGO i know.). There's a bartender on duty after 5:00 pm and the prices very drink prices very reasonable ($7.50 for a Dewars on the rocks). The lounge has a great view into Petco Stadium and the edge of the Gaslamp area around the stadium. I returned because of the fabuloso rooftop deck/lounge (actually it's on the 9th floor, so not a complete 360 degree view). This was my second stay at the Indigo San Diego.
